Our annual Thanksgiving Burn was a success, despite the FOOT of snow that came down the Sunday before. Said snow sure did a number on the trees at the property. We will have a BIG JOB next Spring, that's for sure.

One of the BEST ideas we had was to enlarge the sandpile. The little ones LOVE it, especially when they discovered that the creek water makes it even MORE fun !
We have done alot of tubing on the creek this year. We load up the truck, and drive up to the Richville Lane bridge. We unload on the South side of the bridge, and the tubes go under the road/bridge and on down to the property. It's not very far, probably not even a 1/2 a mile. It's about a 10 minute float - wish it was a little longer, but oh well :) It's quite an adventure for the little ones, and a relaxing way to cool off for the oldies.

Spring is just around the corner
I wish I had my camera at the property yesterday. We walked down for the first time since October. The boys had a swing, and we picked up a few big branches that had fallen, and threw them on the burn pile. The mice have been in the grass, just like at our home. There was one patch of snow left, and we threw some snowballs. It will be fun to get back into the swing of things this year as usual. I love the Property !
